CGDS - Substation Workbench Release 1.0
Substation Workbench Browser Role
The Browser Role in CGDS - Substation Workbench has the capabilities needed to monitor the networks
accessible to the Substation Workbench. This monitoring is “read-only,” in that the user who accesses
Substation Workbench in the Browser role can observe outputs and connections, but cannot influence or
change them. For instance, a user who is charged with observing the behavior of a certain substation or
network design could easily perform these duties within the Browser role.
