Configure an MQAM for the TSBroadcaster
To configure an MQAM for the TSBroadcaster, complete the following steps.

1.
On the DNCS Administrative Console, click the DNCS tab.

Click the Element Provisioning tab.

Click QAM.

Click File > New > MQAM.

Click the Headend Name arrow and select the headend in which this
program MQAM modulator resides.

In the QAM Name field, type the name of this MQAM modulator. You can
use up to 15 alphanumeric characters.

Example: A name of VODhub1MQ43 could represent an MQAM modulator,

7.
In the IP Address field, type the IP address for this MQAM modulator. Be
careful to properly place the dots (.) between numbers.
8.
In the Physical Address field, type the MAC address for this MQAM
modulator.
9.
In the Subnet Mask field, type the subnet mask where this MQAM
modulator resides, based on the following guidelines:

If your system uses a standard network configuration, type 255.255.255.0.

If your system uses another type of network configuration, type the
subnet mask as assigned by your system administrator.
