Enable Disk Mirroring

Follow the procedure in this chapter only if you have upgraded an Enterprise 450 or 

a Sun Fire V880 DNCS during the upgrade to SR 2.5 or SR 3.5. 
Important:  Be sure that you complete this procedure during the current 

maintenance window on the night of the DNCS upgrade. If you wait until the 

following night to complete this procedure, the DNCS will operate an entire day 

without its disk-mirroring functions in place. 

You should follow the procedure in this chapter only under one of the following 

circumstances: 
• 

You are satisfied with the upgrade and want to commit the system changes 
Note:  Rolling back an upgrade after completing the procedure in this chapter is 

time consuming and takes more effort. 

• 

You have rolled back from an unsuccessful upgrade and want to synchronize the 

mirrors
