16 Is this the first installation of the Alarm Manager server software (rather than an
upgrade of an existing installation)?
If yes, go to step 17.
If no, go to step 20.
17 Wait for the NOC EMS Server window to appear.
18 Choose one of the following options on the NOC EMS Server window.
If you know that you want to configure the Alarm Manager server as a
Network Operations Center (NOC) Alarm Manager server, click Yes.
If you know that you do not want to configure the Alarm Manager server as
a NOC Alarm Manager server, click No.
Note: A NOC Alarm Manager server does not communicate directly with the
DNCS. Instead, a NOC Alarm Manager server gathers information from other
Alarm Manager servers.
