Add Unique Entries to the vfstab File (Optional)
After upgrading the DNCS, a new vfstab file is installed and saved to the /etc
directory. Complete the following steps to inspect the vfstab file and add any unique
entries.
Important: You must be root user to make any modifications to the /etc/vfstab file.

2 In one root xterm window, type the following command and press Enter to
change to the /dvs/admin/sysinfo/[date_time] directory.

3 In the same root xterm window, type the following command and press Enter to
open the vfstab file for review.
less vfstab
4 In the second root xterm window type the following command and press Enter
to open the /etc/vfstab file.
less /etc/vfstab
5 Compare the two files. Does the pre-upgrade vfstab file contain any unique
entries compared to the post-upgrade vfstab file?
If yes, in a root xterm window, complete these steps.
a Open the /etc/vf file in a text editor.
