When the new VM is created, power it on.

Mount the ISO to the VM CD ROM drive as follows:

Choose Connect to ISO Image on Local Disk.

Choose the ISO image that you downloaded.

When prompted, enter the following information, then click Next:
• IP address
• Subnet mask
• Hostname
• Domain name
• Gateway IP address
• DNS server IP address

In the Set Up NSC screen, enter the following information, then click Next:
• Admin password, and a confirming entry
• Shared secret password, and a confirming entry, using the criteria described in
page 6

Before You Begin
• Set your keyboard to United States English before installing Prime Network Services Controller and using the VM console.
• Confirm that the Prime Network Services Controller OVA image is available in the VMware vSphere Client.
