Notes on the Different Imported Blueprint Types
For Blueprints Imported from a Different Cisco IAC Environment:
Only a Cloud Provider Technical Administrator (CPTA) can see the blueprint(s) just imported. To edit the blueprint,
the CPTA must be assigned the role of Stack Blueprint Designer (SBD).
A CPTA with the role of SBD needs to edit the imported blueprint using the Edit Blueprint form. (See
). Editing the blueprint is required because:
The new Cisco IAC environment will not have the same template type names as the incoming blueprint.
Therefore, a CPTA-SBD needs to select the template type for the servers. The Edit Blueprint form will not list
any template type at all if in the local Cisco IAC environment does not match what is in the imported blueprint.
The CPTA who edits this imported blueprint will automatically take ownership of it.
For Blueprints Imported from the Same Cisco IAC Environment:
The Stack Blueprint Designer (SBD) who created the original blueprint automatically becomes the owner of the
imported blueprint.
The imported blueprint does not need to be edited at all, because the template type(s) already exists in the local
Cisco IAC environment.
Enabling F5 in ASAP Forms
