Setting the system password
The system password will restrict access to the codec.
The endpoint is delivered with a default user account with 
full credentials. The user name is admin
and initially, no 
password is set for the default user.
Make sure to keep a copy of the password in a safe place.
We strongly recommend that you set a password 
for the admin user, and to any other user with 
similar credentials, to restrict access to system 
configuration.
NOTE:
 The system password set on the endpoint must match 
the value set in the Cisco Unified CM in order for the Cisco 
TelePresence Manager (CTS-MAN) to discover the endpoint 
and provide One Button to Push scheduling to them. Refer to

Log in to the endpoint through the web interface with your 
username and current password. If a password is currently 
not set, use a blank password when logging on.
1.  Set or change the system password
Click on your username in the upper right corner and 
choose 
Change password
 in the drop down menu.
Enter the 
Current password
, the 
New password
, and 
repeat the new password in the appropriate input fields. 
The password format is a string with 0–64 characters.
Click 
Change password
.

When the system password is set from the command 
line interface the codec must be restarted to make 
the password apply to the web interface.
