Tracing a Picture using the Pen Tablet

You can draw beautiful pictures using the pen tablet, even if you are not very good at drawing. 
Find a favorite picture and print out onto paper to use for a tracing pattern.

  Connect the pen tablet to the sewing machine. Refer 

to the Operation Manual included with the pen tablet 
for the details on how to use the pen tablet.

  Select a favorite picture for creating an embroidery 

pattern.

Notes
•  Use thin paper as thick paper may block the sensitivity of the pen

tablet.

  Insert the picture under the tablet sheet.

  Press

  Using the tablet pen, slowly trace the picture.

•  Working  area  of  the  pen  tablet  differs  depending  on  performing

functions of the sewing machine.

•  Do  not  draw  the  line  too  fast;  otherwise  the  line  may  create

breaks.

  Follow the procedure described from “2 Adding 

Color to the Pattern” on page 26 through “5 Saving 
the Embroidery Data” on page 37 to finish creating 
the pattern.

Notes
•  When you create the embroidery pattern by tracing the picture using

the pen tablet, the actual size of the pattern will be bigger than the 
tracing picture. Check the size of the pattern before embroidering, 
then  change  the  size  of  the  pattern  on  the  sewing  machine  if 
needed.
