Use the Security sub-menu to lock your phone, set
restrictions, and other security options.

To access the Security sub-menu, you are prompted to enter
your phone’s four-digit lock code.

n   From the PHONE SETTINGS menu, select Security.

Note: The default lock code is “0000.”

Lock Phone Now

The Lock Phone Now option lets you lock or unlock your
phone immediately.

Locking the device blocks all outgoing calls except those to
911. You can lock the phone manually or set the phone to
lock automatically when turned on. In Lock mode, you can
answer calls, but you must unlock the phone to place calls
(except to 911).

Edit Codes

The Edit Codes option lets you replace your phone’s default
lock code (the default lock code is “0000”) with one of your
own choosing.

It is advisable to change the default lock code to a secret
code for security purposes.

When you select Edit Codes, you are prompted to enter your
new lock code, and then re-enter it for verification.

Note: Your phone does not allow you to view the lock code for

security reasons. If you change the lock code, be sure to
write down or memorize the new code.

Phone Lock Setting

Phone Lock Setting lets you choose whether your phone
powers up unlocked or locked.

n   From the SECURITY menu, select Phone Lock Setting;

then select Unlocked or On Power Up.
