Voicemails
All unanswered calls to your phone are sent to 
voicemail, even if your phone is turned off, so 
you’ll want to set up your voicemail and personal 
greeting as soon as you activate your phone.
1. From the Home screen, touch 
 Apps 
➔ 
 Voicemail.

From the Home screen, touch 
 Phone
then touch and hold

The Voice recorder allows you to record an audio 
file up to one minute long and then immediately 
share it using AllShare, Messaging, Gmail, or 
using Bluetooth. Recording time varies based on 
the available memory within the phone.
1. From the Home screen, touch 
 Apps 
➔ 
 Voice Recorder.
2. Tap 
 to start recording and speak into 
the microphone.
3. Tap 
 to pause recording.
4. Tap 
to stop recording.
5. Tap 
 to end the recording.
6. Tap Menu to display the following options:
• Share  via: shares the recording using such 
methods as Bluetooth, Email, Gmail, Messaging, 
or Wi-Fi Direct.
• Delete: deletes one or more voice recordings. 
Tap the recordings to delete and tap Delete. Tap 
OK to confirm the deletion.
• Settings: the following settings are available:
Storage: choose where your recordings are 
saved. Select between Phone or memory card.
Recording quality: set the recording quality to 
High or Normal.
Limit for MMS: select On or Off. Set to On 
limits the size of the message so it will attach to a 
message.
Contextual filename: works when GPS tag is 
enabled and connected to a network to associate 
the recording file name with a location.
Default name: allows you to rename the default 
recording name. Default name is Voice.
• End: closes the Menu options screen.
