Section 6: Multimedia

This section explains how to use the multimedia features of 
your phone, including your phone’s built-in camera and 
camcorder, the Gallery app to view, capture, and manage 
photos and videos, Media Hub, Music Hub, Music Player, Play 
Movies & TV, Google Play Music, and the Video Player app to 
view and manage videos.

Camera

Use your phone’s built-in camera and camcorder to take 
photos and record videos. Your 5 megapixel camera 
produces photos in JPEG format.

When an SD card is inserted in your phone and you open the 
Camera app, you will be asked if you want to change the 
storage location.

  Touch OK to save pictures and video files on the SD 

card or touch Cancel to continue saving pictures and 

video files on the phone.

If you want to change the storage location after launching the 
Camera app:

1. Touch  

Settings and scroll down to the Storage 

entry.

2. Select Phone or Memory card as the default storage 

location.

To access and use the Camera:

1. From a Home screen, touch 

 Apps ➔

Camera.

If a memory card is inserted, the Storage location 

pop-up displays.

2. Touch OK to change the storage location to memory 

card.

Touch Cancel to use the device storage for storing 

pictures and videos.
