With Blocking mode set to ON, you can block selected 
feature notifications from appearing on your phone’s screen. 

You can also select to receive call notifications only for calls 
from contacts on your allowed list. 

1. From the Settings screen, under Device, touch Blocking 

mode. The Blocking mode screen appears. 

2. Touch Blocking mode 

 to turn Blocking mode 

ON, or 

touch Blocking mode 

 to turn Blocking mode 

OFF. 

Confirm that the Blocking mode active icon 

 

appears in the Status bar. 

3. With Blocking mode set to ON, the following options 

are active (touch them to enable/disable them. When 

enabled, a check mark appears in the check box.): 

• Features: Choose from Disable incoming calls, Disable 

notifications, Disable alarm and timer, Disable LED indicator.

• Set  time: Configure a timeframe for these features to be active. 

Remove the check mark from the Always field to configure the 

From and To time fields.

• Allowed  contacts: Assign those contacts that are exempted 

from these rules. Touch Allowed contacts to choose from 

None, All contacts, Favorites, or Custom. With Allowed 

contacts set to Custom, the Allowed contact list option is 

activated.
