Configure other settings.

With Abbreviated Dialing, you can call numbers 
by dialing just the unique numbers in the 
telephone number, and your phone fills in the 
other digits. For example, if you frequently dial 
numbers with the same area code, you can 
configure Abbreviated Dialing with the area 
code, then just dial the remaining digits to place 
a call. Abbreviated Dialing will add the pre-
configured digits before the number to complete 
the number.

1. From the Main screen, press the 

 MENU/OK Key ➔ TOOLS + SETTINGS  ➔ 

Settings  ➔  Others ➔ Abbreviated Dialing.

2. Use the 

 Navigation Key to highlight On 

to enable Abbreviated Dialing, or Off, then 

press the 

 MENU/OK Key.

3. When you set Abbreviated Dialing to On, 

continue to enter the digits for abbreviated 

dialing. Digits you enter here are dialed 

before (prepended to) digits you dial on the 

keypad. Press DONE to save your settings.

Select a method for answering incoming calls, to 
replace the default, pressing the 

 Talk Key.

1. From the Main screen, press the 

 MENU/OK Key ➔ TOOLS + SETTINGS  ➔ 

Settings  ➔  Others ➔ Call Answer.

2. Use the 

 Navigation Key to highlight 

options, then press the 

 MENU/OK Key 

to select:

• Any  Key: Answer incoming calls by pressing any 

key on the keypad with the flip open.

• Talk  Key: Answer incoming calls by pressing the 

Talk Key.

• Flip  Open: Answer incoming calls by flipping the 

phone open.
