HAC mode allows you to use a hearing aid 
with a T-coil setting in connection with the 
handset. You can set this mode to Enable or 
Disable. When HAC mode is activated, the 

 icon displays indicator area of the 

screen.

To enable or disable HAC mode:

1. In Idle mode, press Menu ➔ Settings 

➔ Phone ➔ HAC Mode.

2. Select Enable or Disable and press Save 

or .

A message Enabling T-Coil will adjust 

audio for use with T-Coil Hearing Aids 

displays.

3. Press Yes to continue.

Important! The hearing aid category specified 

for this product represents 
compatibility only when the phone 
is flipped open, which has 
maximum antenna efficiency. When 
the option is enabled and the phone 
is open during a call, the T-coil 
adjusts the audio for use with T-coil 
hearing aids (see “FCC Hearing Aid 
Compatibility (HAC) Regulations for 
Wireless Devices” on page 128).

Calls

1. From the Home screen, press Menu ➔ 

Settings ➔ Calls.

2. Select General or Voice Call and press

following options:

• Show  My  Number: Show or hide your 

number on the caller display of the phones 

you call. Select Set by network, Show 

number, or Hide number.
