In very noise environments, it may be helpful to 

use a headset or a Bluetooth headset.

On startup, Nuance Voice Recognition 
software reads your Contacts list and 
voice-activates all the names.

When you add or change contacts, the 
software automatically reloads and 
voice-activates the list when you add or 
modify a contact.

Alarms

This feature allows you to set the alarm to 
ring at a specific time.

To set the alarm:

1. From the Home screen, press Menu ➔ 

Alarms.

From the Home screen, press Menu ➔ 

Tools ➔ Alarms.

The following options display:

• Wake-up Alarm: The alarm rings to wake 

you up at the specified time.

• Alarm 1: Primary alarm setting.

• Alarm 2: Secondary alarm setting.

• Alarm 3: Third alarm setting.

• Alarm 4: Fourth alarm setting.

• Auto  Power: The alarm rings even when the 

phone is turned off.

2. Press Options. The options available 

are: Select, Create alarm and Delete. 

Use the Up and Down select keys to 

highlight the alarm, and press 

.

3. Set the following options:

• Name: Enter a specific name for the alarm. 

The name appears on the display when the 

alarm activates, but does not appear if the 

alarm type is Wake-up Alarm.

• Alarm Activation: Activates/deactivates this 

feature (On/Off). The only way to edit the 

remaining fields is to select On.

• Alarm Time: Use the keypad to enter a time 

for the alarm to sound. Use the Left or Right 

select key to select the hour, minute, and 

AM/PM fields.
