14.1 Report messages
To indicate the unit’s fax transmission/reception status, one of the following messages will be printed on the
confirmation and journal reports (page 57).

again or check with the other party.

R A line problem occurred. Connect the telephone line
cord to a different jack and try again.
R An overseas transmission error occurred. Try using
the overseas mode (feature #411 on page 83).

R A transmission or reception error occurred because
of a problem with the other party’s fax machine.
Check with the other party.
JUNK FAX PROH. REJECT

R The junk fax prohibitor feature of this unit rejected
fax reception.
MEMORY FULL

R The memory is full of received documents due to a
lack of recording paper or a recording paper jam.
Load paper (page 16) or remove the jammed paper
(page 126).
R If the PC fax setting (feature #442 on page 86) is set
to “ALWAYS”, check the connection between the
computer and the unit.
