 Static Control Surface Mark Remover 8001 

for Static Control Mats is an extra-strength product 

for removing ordinary dirt and grime, as well as 

difficult spots and stains, from all types of static 

control surfaces: table mats, floor mats, hard laminate 

benchtops, portable field service kit work surfaces, etc.

  Unlike many remover products, 3M Mark Remover 

8001 leaves no tacky or corrosive residue behind to 

attract dirt, attack delicate parts, or increase the contact 

resistance of the surface. (FTMS 101C, Method 3005, 

as modified by MIL-B-81705-C).

  Another beneficial feature of 3M Mark Remover 

8001 is its antistatic capability. 3M laboratory tests 

have shown it to be an excellent topical antistat, 

maintaining a consistent surface resistivity (10

 ohms/

square) over extended periods in both normal (55% 

RH) and dry (13% RH) environments.

  This easy-to-use product is suitable for any 

washable static control surface and is designed to 

be used full-strength. 3M Remover 8001 comes in 

a handy refillable 1 quart spray bottle. It is a clear, 

colorless, homogenous, water-based liquid that 

contains detergents, conditioners, and other cleaning 

additives, and has a fresh, clean scent. 

  Simply spray on Mark Remover 8001 and wipe it off with a clean cloth or sponge. For difficult spots or stains, 

agitation of the surface with a brush or sponge may be helpful. Scotch-Brite
