Press the 

J/j buttons to select TC PRESET, then

press the EXEC button.

The following menu appears.

Press the 

J/j buttons to select PRESET, then

press the EXEC button.

The following menu appears.

Set the first two digits. Press the 

J/j buttons to

select the number, then press the EXEC button.

Repeat step 

 to set the other digits.

Press the 

J/j buttons to select SET, then press the

EXEC button.

The initial time code value is set and the menu
display returns to that of step 

.

Press the 

J/j buttons to select  RETURN, then

press the EXEC button.

The menu display returns to that of step 

.

Select CANCEL in step 

, then press the EXEC

button.

Select RESET in step 

, then press the EXEC button.

You can set the user bits as eight-digit hexadecimal
values (base 16) to have the date, time, scene number,
and other information inserted into the time code track.

The user bits can be set only in a DVCAM format
recording. They cannot be set in a DV format
recording.

Display the menu on the monitor.
