Recording TV programmes

Press 

x STOP.

• To record a normal channel.

Press PROG +/– until the programme position number you want appears 
in the display window.

• To record a video source from the LINE-1 (TV) or LINE-4 (Scart) 

connector, or the LINE-2IN or LINE-3 IN jacks. Press INPUT SELECT 
until L1, L2, L3 or L4 appears in the display window.

Press SP/LP to select the tape speed, SP or LP.

LP (Long Play) provides recording time twice as long as SP, however, SP 
(Standard Play) produces better picture and audio quality.

Press 

z REC to start recording.

The recording indicator lights up red in the display window.
