1. Recall the check, or enter items and press {TOTAL}.

•

For a separate check, recall the separate check # to

be authorized.

2. Press {CREDIT~CARD}.

•

Window displays prompting for entry of credit card

information.

3. Swipe the credit card through the magstripe reader, or,

if the card cannot be read,

•

Press {MANUAL~CARD~ENTRY},index the credit card

number, {ENTER}, and the card’s expiration date,

{ENTER}.

4. The authorization is processed. Screen display depends

on POS Option #75, Go to Server Prompt After Auth.

•

If YES, the screen clears and returns to the Server

Screen.

•

If NO, the screen remains in the check during the

authorization process.

5. When completed:

•

If approved, the credit voucher automatically prints

on the guest check printer.

•

If declined, an explanation along with a code from

the processor will print on the guest check printer.
