normal maintenance by the customer must be
carried out by an approved Moulinex service
centre.
- Never place the appliance, the power cable or
the plug in water or in any other liquid.
- Do not allow the power cable to hang down
within reach of children.
- The power cable must never be allowed to
come close to or in contact with the hot parts
of your appliance, close to a source of heat or
rest on sharp edges.
- If the power cable or the plug are damaged,
do not use the appliance. In order to prevent
any risk to yourself, these must be replaced
by an approved Moulinex service centre.
- For your own safety, you should only use
Moulinex accessories and spare parts which
are suitable for your appliance.
- Unplug the appliance:
. before cleaning it
. before filling the water tank
. when you have finished ironing
. during any interruption in ironing.
- Do not unplug the appliance by pulling on the
power cable.
- Allow the iron to cool down before putting it
away.
- Your iron is fitted with a thermal safety device,
which will cut off the electrical circuit in the
event of any anomaly.

Read the instructions for use carefully
before using your appliance for the first
time: This product has been designed for
domestic use only. Any commercial use,
inappropriate use or failure to comply with
the instructions, the manufacturer accepts
no responsibility and the guarantee will
not apply.
- Never leave your iron unattended when it 
is plugged in or while the soleplate is still 
hot.
Never leave the appliance within reach of
children without supervision. The use of
this appliance by young children or by
disabled persons.
- Check that the voltage (AC) rating of your
appliance matches that of your household
electrical wiring system.
- It is essential that this appliance is connected
to an earthed socket. If you use an extension,
make sure it is rated at 10 A or more, with an
earth conductor.
This appliance is manufactured to conform to
the requirements of the EEC Directives
(89/336/EEC and 73/23/EEC).
Any connection error will render the
guarantee null and void.
- Do not use your appliance if it is not working
correctly, or if it has been damaged. If this
happens, you should contact an approved
Moulinex service centre (see list in the service
booklet).
