Movita child I - child II
User manual
These operating instructions contain information, settings, safety precautions, which are to be considered with the
use of Movita child I and child II, as well as other important data. Movita child I and child II are not to be used on
diagonal and uneven ground.
Movita child I and child II are walking aids for children of 1-11/2 years to 8 years. Movita is directed mainly towards
walk-obstructed people who, without support, cannot keep themselves upright.
Movita can be adapted individually to the needs of a child. The thoracic support holds the upper body in an upright
position and gives the user security. The pelvic support holds the child on the seat, and the handle gives a relieved
support for the arms. The thoracic support and the pelvic support can be opened with a simple motion, this makes the
transfer particularly easy. Movita child I and child II can be used indoors and outdoors, thanks to the large wheels.

Start-up

Movita child I and child II are assembled completely when delivered. Under the seat a hexagonal wrench is located
(fig. 2).
Basic model adjustment

Height of the thoracic support and seat
For height adjustment of the thoracic support, loosen the two bottom handles (fig. 4). Once the desired height has
been reached, the handles need to be tightened whereby the same height can be adjusted on both sides with the
help of the height framework.
The seat height can be adjusted by loosening both upper handles (fig. 4). Once the desired height has been
achieved, both handles need to be tightened, whereby with the help of the height framework the exact height can be
adjusted.
Thoracic support

The thoracic support can be opened or closed through lightly raising or pressing down on the padded pipe (fig. 6).
Springs
The two springs in the lower pipes can be exchanged, if a harder or softer suspension is needed (fig. 5). The springs
are available in four different levels of stiffness, which are appropriate for the following body weights 10 kg - 15 kg -
20 kg -25 kg. To exchange the springs, the front handle will first need to be unscrewed from the pipes on both sides
(fig. 7). Then the front handle is swiveled forward and the entire upper section is lifted from the stand (fig. 8). The
underframe is placed upside down, thus the springs can fall out (fig. 9). After the new springs are introduced, the
upper section can be inserted again into the pipes.
Seat
The seat can be pushed backwards and forwards. Loosen the large screw under the seat attachment pipe (fig. 10).
When the desired position is found the screw needs to be tightened again. In addition, the angle of the seat can be
adjusted by loosening the two internal hexagonal screws under the seat (fig. 10). After adjusting, the screws are
tightened again.
