To change the password for feature programming via remote operation.

2. Enter the current password. A MOKN
R The default password is “1234”.
3. Enter a new 4-digit password using 0-9. A MOKN
4. Enter the new password again. A MOKN A MtN
Note:
R It is recommended that you change this password from the default password.
R This password is also used for feature programming via a web browser.
Maintenance time

The unit will automatically activate for self-maintenance.
1. MtN A MBNM1NM5NM8N A MOKN
2. Enter the maintenance start time.
R The default time is “00:00”.
If you selected 12-hour time entry (page 23), press MGN repeatedly to
select AM or PM.
R If you selected 24-hour time entry (page 23), the time is set using 24-hour
time entry.

R Do not activate the unit during self-maintenance.

Before you dispose of, transfer or return the product, activate this feature to reset
all programmable features and to delete all data stored in memory.
Address book and fax transmission data (journal report and faxes received in
memory) will be deleted.
R Disconnect the telephone line cord, USB cable and LAN cable before

activated.
