R If the area code of the received telephone number is the same as yours, the area code may need to be

1. Set the unit to the fax mode.
2. Mz/CALLER IDN
3. MCDN: Search from the recently received caller information.

R While displaying the desired caller information, press Mz/CALLER IDN repeatedly to change name/telephone

number information.

R Press dial key (0 to 9) or MG/ToneN to enter the editing mode and edit the telephone number if necessary.

Note:
R “ ” on the display means the call has already been viewed or answered. To stop viewing, press Mw/STOPN.

Erasing caller information
Erasing all caller information
1. Mt/MENUN (repeatedly): “CALLER SETUP” A MOK/SETN
2. “CALL LIST ERASE” will be displayed. A MOK/SETN
3. MOK/SETN A Mw/STOPN

Erasing specific caller information
1. Set the unit to the fax mode.
2. Mz/CALLER IDN
3. MCDN: Display the desired item. A MFN A MOK/SETN A Mw/STOPN

Storing caller information
1. Set the unit to the fax mode.
2. Mz/CALLER IDN
3. MCDN: Display the desired item. A Mt/MENUN
4. Press MFN or MEN. A MOK/SETN A MOK/SETN

If you subscribe to Caller ID service (page 79), this feature prevents fax reception from calls that do not show caller
information.
Additionally, the unit will not accept faxes originating from numbers that match the ones on a programmable junk fax
prohibitor list.

Important:
R This feature does not work if you receive faxes manually.

Activating the junk fax prohibitor
1. Mt/MENUN (repeatedly): “JUNK FAX PROH.” A MEN
2. MCDN: “ON” A MOK/SETN
3. Press Mw/STOPN to exit.

Storing undesired callers
You can register up to 20 undesired numbers from the Caller ID list (page 95) if you do not wish to receive faxes
from them.
1. Mt/MENUN (repeatedly): “JUNK FAX PROH.”
2. MEN (repeatedly): “JUNK LIST SET” A MOK/SETN
3. MCDN: Display the party you do not want to receive faxes from. A MOK/SETN
4. Press Mw/STOPN repeatedly to exit.
