Troubleshooting
Not Detect.
Turn off the system (scanner / printer /
computer), then turn it on again. If the
trouble still remains, confirm the following
points.

The terminator is correctly set.
B
The SCSI board is correctly installed in
the computer.
B
The system is correctly connected with
SCSI cables.
B
Each SCSI device has a different ID
Number.
For any other trouble related to SCSI,
refer to the SCSI section of
Troubleshooting

The scanner and the printer were
turned on after turning on the
computer.
B
The terminator setting is
improper.
B
SCSI setting or cable connection
is improper.
One or more ASPI for
DOS managers are
loaded which do not
support ASPI for Win16
or 32.
Status Display
Invalid LPT Port.
SCSI board is not correctly set. 
Correctly set the SCSI board in the
computer. (Refer to the instructions
manual of the SCSI board.)

Unavailable LPT port is selected
when using Windows 3.1.
Select the other available LPT port by
following the procedure below.
1. Double click the 
Main
icon.
2. Double click the 
Control Panel 
icon.

Printers 
icon.
4. Click Connect... .
5. Click the other port, then click OK.
6. Click Close.
No ASPI managers are
loaded. This typically
occurs when a DOS ASPI
manager is not resident in
memory.

Reinstall the KX-PS8000 software.
