R  Searching for FM HD Radio programs—

You can search for your favorite programs being 
broadcast by selecting the PTY code.

 

  Select a PTY code.

(Hold)

•  You can change the page to display more 

items by pressing [ 

 ]/[ 

 ].

PTY Search starts.
If there is a station broadcasting a program of 
the same PTY code as you have selected, that 
station is tuned in.

R  Storing stations in the memory

You can preset 5 stations for each band.
 Automatic presetting — AME (Auto Memory) (for 
FM only)

(Hold)

Local stations with the strongest signals are found 
and stored automatically.

  Tune in to a station you want to preset.

  Select a preset number.

(Hold)

The station selected in step 1 is stored.

R  Selecting a preset station from the list

  Select the band (

1), then display the 

preset station window (

2).

•  You can also select a preset station by 

pressing [P1] – [P5].

  Select a preset station.

• Pressing [<] scrolls the text if not all of the text 

is shown.

 

– To hide the window, press [   ].
