Setting the Sensor’s Delay
After Scenes have been applied to the motion sensor as ON/OFF triggers, you must select a delay with the Timing Mode selection 
switch. Choose from pulse, 5 minute delay, 10 minute delay, or 15 minute delay. 
Exclusion from TaHomA
NOTE: Only 1 device at a time can be excluded from TaHomA.
1.  In TaHomA’s Device Configurator, click the “Remove Device” button. Wait until the Device Remover window displays the
message “Listening for a device to remove from the network” before continuing to the next step.
2.  Briefly press and release the ACTIVATOR Button. TaHomA will remove the motion sensor from the system and the icon will
disappear from TaHomA.

Overview
Once included in TaHomA, the USB Inclusion Controller (USBIC) can include/exclude devices as well as activate them. The 
USBIC software will only work on computers running Windows XP or later. For a detailed diagram of the Somfy inclusion Tool 
Program GUI, refer to diagram on the next page.
Preparing for USBIC Programming
NOTE: For first time use, download the USBIC Somfy Inclusion Tool and FTDI Drivers from the TaHomA Dealer Support Page

1.  Insert the USBIC into a free USB port on your computer. Your computer will automatically recognize the USBIC. 
2.  Launch the Somfy Inclusion Tool Program. 
3.  If you have used the USBIC for previous installations, click “Reset Inclusion Tool.” This will remove all prior programming 
history. Otherwise, proceed to the next step.
Including the USBIC into TaHomA
NOTE: This must be done within direct range of the TaHomA controller. 
1.  In TaHomA’s Device Configurator, press the “Start Listening” button. Wait until the Device Finder window displays the
message “Listening for a device to add to the network” before continuing to the next step.
