M ake sure there is sufficient light into the camer a (eg. 
ap erture is op en as ap erture controls the amount of light 
entering  camera) and  exp osure time in not set to 0 (y ou 
can’t take a p icture/video if exp osure time is set to zero)

When up gradin g  Lumen era software, ensure the follow 
step s are followed: 
a.

 

Unp lug camer a from USB 

b.

 

Uninstall the Lucam software 

c.

 

Reboot windows

Download the latest Lucam software: 

http ://www.lumenera.com/sup p ort/download.p hp

Install new Lucam software

Reboot windows

Plug camer a back  into the same USB p ort 

h.

 

Try  acquirin g p ictures/video from a br ight source (eg 

bright room)

If there is no video, may be it’s too dark due to wrong 

software and hardware settings. Check 1. Ensure 
software setting is correct to allow enou gh light into the 
lens 

j.

 

If camer a still doesn’t work, try  up gradin g drivers from 

‘Device manager’
