Using the SMS (short message service), your phone can send and receive
multipart messages, which consist of several ordinary text messages. Invoicing
may be based on the number of ordinary messages that are required for a

Write and send messages
Your device can send text messages beyond the normal 160-character limit. If
your message exceeds 160 characters, it is sent as a series of two or more
messages. The number of available characters and the current part number of a
multipart message are shown on the top right of the display, (for example 120/2).
