1.4 Purpose of the document

2 Bluetooth
Bluetooth enables a wireless connection between a mobile phone and the handsfree telephone
system.

must be linked with the handsfree kit (only has to be done once). To establish
this link, you must carry out various steps, depending on the mobile phone you are using. Please
refer to the instructions for your mobile phone. In principle, you must carry out the following steps
to establish the link between the mobile phone and the handsfree system:

Switch on the ignition

Make sure, that your mobile phone is switched on an enter the correct PIN

Enable Bluetooth on your phone
•
Search for Bluetooth compatible devices (=> user manual of your mobile phone)

Connect the mobile phone to the handsfree kit it finds. The name of the handsfree kit

Enter the Bluetooth passkey for handsfree kit within 30 seconds. The passkey is 1234.

Wait until your mobile phone indicates that is has been successfully linked. If the two

Once you have completed this procedure, the handsfree kit will next time automatically
connect to your mobile phone when you switch on the ignition of the vehicle and if your
mobile phone is ready for operation.

You can link up to four mobile phones to the mobile phone adapter. However, it is only possible to
activate one connection at a time. If you link a fifth mobile phone to the handsfree kit, the link to the
mobile phone, which has not been used together with the handsfree kit for the longest time will be
cancelled.
3 Speech control
The speech control is activated by pressing the PTT button. Following commands are available:

The mobile phone must support the handsfree profile 1.0.
