Use the Sentry

The following procedure shows how to scan data from a Contact card and verify the data with the Sentry. The
application in the illustration is a Crossmatch demonstration application. Your application can appear different.

Start the application.

Sign into the application The Home window appears with the Main menu for
the application displayed. The application in the illustration is a Crossmatch
demonstration application. Your application can be different.

Touch to select Contact Card. The instruction to insert the card and enter a PIN
appears.

Enter the PIN

Insert the card, with the picture visible, into the slot in the right-side of the

Enter the PIN.

Touch the Submit button.

The Sentry scans the card and the application displays the data from the card on
the screen. The workflow in the example application requires the operator to
verify the fingerprint.
