There are various applications provided by Nokia and
different third-party software developers that help you
do more with your device. These applications are
explained in the guides that are available on the product
support pages of the Nokia website.
Software updates
Nokia may produce software updates that offer new
features, enhanced functions, and improved
performance. You may be able to request these updates
through the Nokia Software Updater PC application.
Software updates may not be available for all products or
their variants. Not all operators may endorse the latest
software versions available.
To update the device software, you need the Nokia
Software Updater application and a compatible PC with
Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, or Vista operating system,
broadband internet access, and a compatible data cable
to connect your device to the PC.
To get more information and to download the Nokia
Software Updater application, visit www.nokiausa.com/
softwareupdate in the United States or www.nokia-
latinoamerica.com/nsu in Latin America.
Tip: To check the software version in your device,
enter *#0000# in the standby mode.
