When a new not ificat ion icon appears on the not ificat ion bar, 
place your finger on the not ificat ion bar and flick down to open 
the not ificat ion panel. 

You can also open the notification panel from the home screen: 
Touch 

 > Notifications to open the panel.

On the panel, you can: 

z 

Touch a not ificat ion to open the related applicat ion. 

z 

Touch Clear to clear all not ificat ions. 

Touch and hold the bottom of the panel. Then flick up to close.

Touch and hold a blank area on the home screen unt il the Add 
to home screen menu is displayed.

Select an item to add it to the home screen.

Touch and hold an item on the home screen unt il the item 
expands in size and the mobile phone vibrates.
