2. Press the responding number key repeatedly to enter the first pinyin letter for 

the first Chinese character of the name you are searching for. For example, to 

enter letter "z", press 9 four times. A search field pops up and displays the 

entered letter in it. Enter more informations in the search field. The display 

will show all Chinese names which match the letters you entered and all 

English names which start with the letters you entered. 

Please note, the names’ order showing on the display may be inconsistent 

with the order in contacts.

English input method is the default input method when searching. When 

there’s a search field on display, press # to switch to other input methods,

such as "stroke" or "uppercase" input method. The device searches the 

matching Chinese names based on the strokes you entered, or the matching

English names based on the letters you entered.

3. Scroll to the desired name. Press 

and use scroll key to view the details 

of the selected name. 

You can select which memory to use, how the contacts appear in your contacts 
list and view the amount of memory used or available in your device. 

In the standby mode, select

■ Send and receive contacts 

You can send and receive an entry in your contacts list using text messaging or 
mail, if supported by your wireless service provider. 

You can send a business card as a text message to a compatible phone or other 
handheld device.
