Barge call—When you place a barge call, the
recipient’s phone plays an audible tone, and
the call automatically connects.
Note: You can make a barge call to only a single
recipient. You can’t make a barge call to a group.
make a PTT call

Press and release the PTT key.

Enter a PTT recipient’s phone number.

Select a contact from the PTT Contact list: Use
the navigation key (

) to scroll to PTT Contact List
and press the center select key (

) (OK). Scroll
to the contact you want to call.

Select a group from PTT Groups: Use the

) (OK). Scroll to the name
of the group you want to call.

To make a barge call, press and hold the PTT
key, then speak after you hear the tone.
Note: This step works only when calling a single
recipient.

To make an alert call, press and release the PTT
key to send a call request. The recipient receives
an alert tone and can choose to accept or ignore
the call. If the recipient accepts the call, you can’t
speak until the recipient releases the PTT key
on the recipient’s phone.
