CHOOSE FREQUENCY
Receiver
Set the 300SR receiver to one of the following frequencies:
power (50 Hz or 60 Hz)
radio
active (8 kHz or 29 kHz)
Transmitter
Your 300ST transmitter was configured at the time of purchase to
send either 8 kHz or 29 kHz signals.
Antenna
Description
When to use
peak
Uses two horizontal
antenna to detect signal.
Response is highest at
strongest signal.
This is the preferred
configuration for most
applications.
null
Uses a vertical antenna to
detect signal. Response is
lowest when receiver is
over the line.
Use primarily to verify
the location of a target
line after it has been
located with the peak
antenna.
