Insert the Batteries
The keyboard requires 2 AAA batteries and the mouse requires 2 AA batteries which are
included in the package. Whenever you insert batteries, always make sure that each of them is
new. Alkaline batteries provide maximum battery life.
To insert the batteries
Turn the mouse upside down, and then release the switch to open the top cover where
the batteries are located.

2 Connect the Receiver to Your Computer
● With your computer turned on, plug the rectangular USB connector into your
computer’s rectangular USB port.
3 Position the Receiver, Keyboard, and Mouse
Position the receiver at least 8 inches (20 cm) away from your computer monitor,
computer case, and any other items that might cause interference (such as metal filing
cabinets, desktop fans, or fluorescent lights).
2 Position the keyboard and mouse no less than 8 inches (20 cm) from the receiver
but no more than 4 feet (1.2 m) from the receiver. This distance varies depending on
nearby items causing interference and other factors.
