1 GETTING STARTED
This section will walk you through how to get started using the WWAN device. This includes
software and driver installation, inserting the card so Microsoft Windows is able to detect and

The WWAN device utilizes the Verizon Broadband Network to connect to the Internet transferring
data at rates of 300-600 kbps, and bursts speeds of up to 2.4Mbps. The VZAccess Manager
software will allow you to control and monitor your connection to the Verizon Broadband
network. It will also allow you to send and receive SMS (Short Messaging Service), get online
help and has an address book.

3. NationalAccess - NationalAccess delivers typical speeds of 60 to 80 kbps, bursting up to 144
kbps*. This service requires subscription to a NationalAccess plan. Additional information is

4. BroadbandAccess - This requires a BrandbandAccess capable PC and provides a wireless
broadband connection to the Internet. Verizon Wireless BroadbandAccess is one of the fastest,

email attachments at broadband-like speeds (typical speeds of 300-500 kbps, capable of
reaching speeds up to 2 Mbps). Today this subscription service is
