  Insert a storage card 

1. 

Remove the back cover. 

2. 

If the battery is installed, remove the battery. 

3. 

Slide the storage card holder to the bottom of the camera to unlock it, and then 

flip it open. 

4. 

Put the storage card into the slot with its gold contacts facing down. 

5. 

Close the storage card holder and then slide the storage card holder to the top to 

lock it. 

 

 

 

Remove a storage card 

1. 

Remove the back cover. 

2. 

If the battery is installed, remove the battery. 

3. 

Slide the storage card holder to the bottom of the camera to unlock it, and then 

flip it open. 

4. 

Take out the storage card. 

 

 

Charging Your Camera 

1. 

Plug one end of the charger into an AC outlet. 

2. 

Plug the other end into the USB port on your camera. The camera’s status light 

turns red, indicating that it’s charging. When charging is complete, the status light 

turns green. 

3. 

When the camera is fully charged, disconnect it from the charger. 

Note: As a safety precaution, the battery stops charging when it overheats.
