8 Troubleshooting Best Practices
Keep Known Good IVG Component Spares in the Shop
Spare parts should include:
• IVG system
• IVG power I/O cable

Use a Test Cart to Perform Bad Part Verification/Double Checking
If an Omnitracs IVG part is diagnosed “bad” on a truck, install the failed part on a test cart or
another truck that has an installation that is known to be good.
