This all-in-one HP xw4600 management workstation is
designed for video-oriented applications that require high
performance and advanced visualization. The HP xw4600
is a workstation solution based on the new
Intel X38 Express performance chipset and the latest
workstation-class dual-core Intel processors:

Intel’s Core 2 Duo E8500 (3.16 GHz, 6 MB L2 cache)

2 GB DDR2 800 MHz ECC unbuffered

With four internal hard disk drives (1 x 160 GB for the
operating system, 3 x 1000 GB for video data) the system
is designed as a stand-alone solution for recording and
viewing video. This all-in-one system can be used for
environments with a maximum bandwidth of 40 Mbps.
The HP xw4600 workstation allows for savings in power
consumption and energy costs with an 80 PLUS efficient
power supply and Energy Star compliant options without
sacrificing performance.
With dual PCIe x16 Gen2 graphics interfaces, the
HP xw4600 delivers up to twice the performance
bandwidth of previous generation interfaces:

performance, and its DDR2 800 MHz memory ensures

high-quality data transmission and future

expandability.

The architecture of this management workstation

delivers next generation I/O throughput to handle

a MUI (Multilingual User Interface). With MUI
installed the language of the workstation may
be changed after initial installation (for
