technology.WebTLC, a remote library manage-

ment tool embedded in the NEO, allows you to

securely view and manage the library and all of

its functions from any location that’s convenient

for you via an internet browser. The NEO 8000’s

built-in diagnostic capabilities proactively monitor

and manage your backup and archive process,

and notify you via emails and pages with library

operation status, minimizing costly downtime.

Flexible Connectivity

Regardless of whether your data center storage

applications require SCSI, Fibre Channel or iSCSI

connectivity to optimize performance, the NEO

8000 has the solution that’s right for you. Utilizing

Overland’s V.I.A.™ (Virtual Interface Architecture)

technology, your network or SAN can easily

communicate with the NEO 8000 tape library, by

using one or more of the V.I.A. cards installed in

the unit’s rear-panel card cages.

tures to ensure that your data is always available.

Hot-swap tape drives and power supplies ensure
