Turn the printer off. Rotate the platen knob to back the paper out of the carriage (1). If necessary,
open the access cover and lift the pull-up roller assembly to provide access to remove any ripped
pieces from around the carriage (2), then re-install the pull-up roller assembly and close the
access cover. Turn the printer back on and place a new sheet of paper in the paper separator
(3).
