Personal wireless lighting

 

The Philips hue personal wireless lighting 
system lets you control your lights wirelessly 
from anywhere in your house. Be it from the 
living room, the dining table or your bedroom, 
with hue tap you can control any light you wish 
to connect to it.

The provided wall bracket allows you to 
choose how to use it depending on your mood 
or activity. Click it on and off your wall as you 
wish. You can simply mount hue tap on a 
surface with the very strong double-sided tape 
supplied. Install it in 15 seconds, without the 
need to drill holes.

Hue tap uses kinetic energy and is powered by 
your touch. So no batteries, wires or mains 
connectivity are needed. Come home, unpack 
and start playing with tap straight away. Assign 
scenes and lamps to the 4 buttons via the hue 
app and you are ready to rock.

You can connect up to 50 bulbs or luminaires 
and 25 taps to your Philips hue bridge. Simply 
begin with any of the available starter kits and 
start adding in any combination: Philips hue 
bulbs, Philips Friends of hue Bloom, Iris or 
LightStrips. With a tap of your finger, you can 
now control any connected lighting in your 
home, with your smartphone and your hue tap 
smart switch.

You can now control your hue lights with just 
the push of a button. And there are four to 
choose from. Select one for a favourite scene. 
One for a light recipe. Or one just to switch 
some or all lights off. It's all up to you.

Mount it on the wall. Leave it in a handy spot. 
Even take it around the house with you. Use it 
when your phone is on charge or when the 
kids are playing with your tablet. Hue tap 
combines the flexibility of a remote control 
with the convenience of a traditional light 
switch.

Hue tap works with the ZigBee Green Power 
Protocol. Green power gives battery-free, 
energy-harvesting devices the ability to join the 
standardised ZigBee networks.
