USB Serial Link
The integrated USB-BDM provides a serial link from the target MCU to the host PC through the

LIN Port
The DEMO9S12XHY256 applies the MC33661 LIN bus physical layer device (PHY) to support
LIN communications. The PHY may be configured as a Master or Slave node on the LIN bus.
LIN connectors J9 & J10 are configured in parallel to support pass-thru signaling if needed.
Connector J9 is not installed in default configurations. Figure 9 shows the LIN block diagram.
