What type of fuel is needed?
Fuel selection has great influence on the performance of the engine.
Generally, the following applies:
• In the run-in phase, a special RC car fuel with approximately 16% of nitromethane must be used.
• When the engine has been run in properly (after running for about 45 minutes), you can start using fuel containing approximately 20% of nitromethane.
• For maximum performance, we recommend the max. percentage of 25% of nitromethane.
Use fuel for RC cars only! Fuel for RC flight engines does not contain enough oil (too little lubrication), which causes the engine to overheat and
results in serious damage. The same applies to motor vehicle petrol.
Loss of guarantee/warranty!
Why use a tank bottle?
RC car model fuel is available in big containers (canisters) only. Using a smaller special tank bottle with a thin, bent spout makes fuelling the tank a lot easier. You
avoid spilling (expensive and toxic) fuel.
Spilled fuel harms the environment and poses a risk of explosion and fire!
