First install the driver and the software in the delivery package, do not yet connect
the video grabber!
•  Start the operating system (Windows XP or higher) and wait until it is completely loaded.
•  Place the enclosed CD in the appropriate drive of your computer.
If the installation program does not start automatically, then load it manually. When these
operating instructions were written, there was a program “Autorun.exe” in the main directory
of the CD. Then install the drive (click on “Install Drivers”). Follow the software’s directions.
After the driver installation the software that enables digitalization of the video signal must
be installed. For this, click on “Install VHS to DVD” in the installation program. Follow the
software’s directions.
•  Now you can close the window for the installation software.

•   First install the driver and the enclosed software; if this has not been done, see previous
chapter.
•   Connect the video grabber to a free USB 2.0 port on the computer. The first time it is used,
the computer recognizes Windows’ new hardware and completes the installation.
•   Start the software.
•   Connect an AV source to the 3 RCA jacks (yellow for the video signal, the two others for the
audio signal). Alternatively, the SVideo connection can be used for the video signal and the
red/white RCA jack connectors for the audio signal.

•  Only use a USB 2.0 port otherwise there could be gaps and shakes in the video record.
•   Always install the driver first and then the software before the video grabber is connected to
the computer.
•   On the CD you will find the English language manufacturer’s directions for the software. To
view this you need a program that can open a PDF file (for example Acrobat Reader, which
can be downloaded for free at www.adobe.com).
