11.  The following settings are possible 
and can be set via the “+” and “-” 
buttons:

12.  If there is no pot or pan on the 
burner, a signal tone sounds at 
intervals, the display shows E  0 
and the appliance automatically 
switches off after 30 seconds.
13.  The appliance can be switched 
off at any time during the cooking 
process by pressing the EIN/AUS 
button.
14.  The settings made are not saved 
at the end of the program or if the 
program is cancelled.
15.  The fan continues to run for 
approx. 30 seconds after the end 
of the program.
16.  If the program is not controlled via 
the time selection, the appliance 
automatically switches off after 
two hours at the latest.
17.  After use, unplug the power plug 
from the electrical outlet to save 
energy.
18.  Caution: Do not leave the appli-
ance unattended while you are 
cooking with it.
CAUTION:
The glass cooktop can become 
hot from the heat radiated from 
pots or pans. Therefore, do not 
touch the surface immediately 
after cooking.
LOCK FUNCTION/BUTTON LOCK
The appliance can be locked to pre-
vent unintentional operation of the ap-
pliance.
Switching on the lock function:
1.  Simultaneously tap the “+” and 
“-” buttons.
2.  When “L” is shown in the display, 
the lock function is active. The 
display will then alternately show 
the selected temperature or power 
level and “L”. Settings can no lon-
ger be made. Only the EIN/AUS 
button can be activated to switch 
off the appliance

3.  Simultaneously tap the “+” and 
“-” buttons again. When only 
the selected temperature level or 
power level is displayed, the lock 
function is switched off.
4.  Note: As soon as the appliance is 
disconnected from the mains, the 
lock function is no longer swit-
ched on; if necessary it must be 
activated again.
