–   In working areas the accident prevention information of the local authorities 

have to be respected.

–   In  schools,  education  centers  and  hobby  working  places  the  use  of  the 

product has to be supervised by educated staff.

–   When replacing component parts they have to match the original parts in all 

respects and meet all electrical characteristics and specifications. The use of 
other substitutes can lead to serious defects.

–   After using the product always unplug it from the mains.
–   First disconnect the battery and then disconnect the unit.
–  Do not operate the device during frost or danger of frost to avoid the formation 

of condensation water. 

–  Do not expose the device to rain or moisture to avoid a fire hazard and the 

danger of an electric shock. 

–  Do not allow liquids of any kind to penetrate into the device.
–  Never cover the ventilation slots or housing. Ventilate the room sufficiently.
–  Do not place the device near to warm air sources such as heaters etc.! 
–  Never  put  or  lead  the  charging  cable  near  to  inflammable  materials.  The 

charging cable may neither be kinked nor be led over sharp-edged parts. 

–  Live cables or lines, which are connected to the device, must always be tested 

before and after use for insulation faults or breakages. 

–  Immediately  discontinue  using  the  device,  if  an  error  is  determined  in  the 

supply cable. 

–  Ensure a safe and stable connection when connecting the battery charging 

clamps.

–  The device may only be used on a stable and non-combustible surface. 
–  When  charging  the  battery  pay  attention  that  the  batteries  are  connected 

correctly with the poles.

–  In  order  to  avoid  damages  to  the  batteries  please  pay  attention  that  the 

batteries are never over-discharged. 

–  When charging lead acid batteries, open the cell plugs of the lead battery. 
–  Examine acid level also during longer charge duration occasionally.
–  While  charging  a  positive  pressure  develops  in  the  internal  of  the  battery, 

which must be diminished. 

–  Never  use  in  the  case  of  adverse  ambient  conditions.  Adverse  ambient 

conditions  are:  Ambient  temperatures  below  –25  °C  or  above  +50  °C, 
combustible gases, solvents, vapours, dust, air humidity above 80 % rel. as
